Stonehenge Foundation Restoration has evolved from a need. After years of working around homes, we have seen the slow deterioration of many homes’ foundations. Sadly we have also been called to repair recently repaired foundation work. We recognize that a home’s foundation is a bit of a mystery, where homeowners know that they have one and that it is important, but little else. We are not satisfied with the status quo and so we make an active effort to work in an environmentally responsible manner. We understand that having foundation work done can feel traumatic, so we ensure that our customers understand the process and the solutions. It is our commitment to ensure that what we do will be done properly and more importantly, that it will last.   Our Process is what makes us an industry leader.

Our process consists of 3 steps:

1. Investigate
2. Diagnose
3. Remedy

Investigate – Stonehenge Foundation Restorations will not make a recommendation or provide a quotation without onsite visits to investigate the source of the problem. We look inside and outside. When necessary, we use thermal imaging to examine walls and ceilings as a non-invasive way to help determine the extent of the problems.

Diagnose – We believe that physically diagnosing a problem area is the only way the cause can be determined. That’s why we make test holes wherever possible. Common methods include digging a hole down to the footing large enough that a visual inspection can be made of the foundation. This is usually the first time that homeowners see the most important part of their home.

We have seen many different types of problems before, but each situation is unique. We will walk you through why the problem is occurring, the cause, what can be done to prevent it from happening in the future and the solutions necessary to repair the problem. We are not comfortable moving ahead with a project unless you understand the proposed plan. There may of course be times when we come across an unforeseen issue. Where some contractors would call new problems ‘surprises’ and charge accordingly, Stonehenge Foundation Restoration is always fair and will explain the situation and, most importantly, solve the problem properly and cost effectively.

Remedy – Before we begin any further work, we discuss the steps, timeline and what processes we will use. Throughout the project you will receive updates on the scope and progress of work. Because we live and work in the Beach, your neighbours are often our neighbours. Keeping our neighbourhood at its best is a priority. And so, while we work we use dust collection methods where possible or cut materials using wet saws. We leave our work areas neat and, more importantly, safe for you, your children, pets and neighbours. Wherever possible, we eliminate the usage of petroleum based-products in an effort to be environmentally friendly.
